UNITING THE BLIND BOYS OF ALABAMA WITH BELA FLECK FOR RECORD STORE DAY 2021

Bela Fleck occupies a similarly lofty perch in the world of bluegrass. Together, they have earned 20 GRAMMY Awards and scores of other accolades. For Record Store Day 2021, The Blind Boys of Alabama and Bela Fleck have joined together on record for the first time to release a special 45RPM 7” to be released on Alabama-based label Single Lock Records. On the A Side of this historic collaboration, The Blind Boys and Bela cover I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel to Be Free , the Billy Taylor and Dick Dallas: a classic made famous by Nina Simone, which continues to be an anthem for the Civil Rights Movement. On the B Side, the artists bring See By Faith to a physical format for the first time. A bonus track from the Blind Boys acclaimed LP, Almost Home, See By Faith is a previously unreleased song written by Bob Dylan.
