But we are moving to what i would say is virtual recruiting. I have a broader question. Experts say you can anticipate the spread of the virus will will likelyate, and not exclude the military. I am wondering what worstcase scenario you see for the army in terms of how you will have to adjust. We are taking this day to day. A lot of this is looking at the trend data as to how great it will go. Things we learned from general generaln your riba abrams and another general is that you create safety bubbles and keep uniform formations intact and ultimately see if you can ride this out. Will this be a seasonal flu . Will it reverberate or boomerang in the fall . So we are keeping the formations intact and will adjust as we learn more. You dont have a specific worstcase you are planning for . Secretary mccarthy we are learning more every day and looking at options, but we need to collect more data. I would add to the secretary, what we found in italy and korea were very strong measures where

I will start with some opening comments. Q a we will do an open up to answer questions. Weve got to get out of here no later than 1600 and get back to the office. Let me make a couple remarks. Thank you for coming. We are trying to bring an update on the covid19 response efforts to protect our people, maintain Mission Readiness and support the government effort. To provide these updates as routinely as we can. We will work out a rhythm that is appropriate. Our goal is to be as transparent as possible and keep an open line of communication about what the army is doing. On march 19, currently the u. S. Army has 45 cases. This number includes 21 soldiers, six da civilians, eight family members, and 10 contractors. Crisis,ng in times of helping restore peace in times of chaos, and organizing against
Supervisor haney and the Community Advocates for working on them. Supervisor yee supervisor brown. Thank you. Yes, i too want to give my thanks to mayor breed and supervisor mandelman for taking on this and really diving deep into this really difficult, complicated issue. For people suffering with ex trem mental illness, i think we really need to do better. I think we all agree of that. We shouldnt wait for contact with the police to provide shelter and treatment. I agree we need a better, much more Robust Mental Health system and that we need to have appropriate housing for people facing mental illness. And yes, we also need more front line Mental Health providers on the streets to connect with people already on the streets and suffering. I think thats really important and especially i would love to see that kind of force out there to be ahead of the police contacting people on the streets. But, we also need a way to help people who are in severe crisis but wont accept help. We cannot
Dead tonight. The amount of damage involved, spread across several different lanes. The damage is shocking. Reporter just after 5 am, police say a truck heading westbound swerved across multiple lanes hitting five cars as it approached the toll plaza. It then slammed into toll booth number 14 and pushed it several feet. Inside the toll booth was a toll collector, and that party was killed. It was 44yearolds cc. Do we know anything about the company

Reporter investigators and engineers have been on scene for hours. They are tracking the tollbooth for any structural damage. So far they havent found any issues. Did they have Surveillance Video of the accident . Do you know how much longer the lanes are expected to be close . Reporter they originally said he didnt expect the lanes be open until about 10 pm. We were talking about four more hours. They have moved that up a little bit, they are hoping they can get these lanes open in about an hour. You know if they have Surveillance Video of the accident .
