Punjab Police on Friday declared Lakhbir Singh Landa as the key conspirator in the Mohali blast case, wherein a Rocket-Propelled Grenade (RPG) attack took place on the Punjab Police s Intelligence headquarters earlier this week.

395 Our Correspondent Tarn Taran, June 1 The district police today claimed to have solved the Patti double murder case in which two residents Amandeep Singh Fauji and Prabhdeep Singh, alias Pooran were shot on May 27, while their third associate was injured seriously. A case under Sections 302, 307 and 34 of the IPC, and Sections 25, 27, 54 and 59 of the Arms Act was registered by the Patti city police. SSP Dhruman H Nimbale said the killings were the outcome of personal enmity between two groups involving gangsters. Though the police had arrested three suspects Malkit Singh Laddoo of Patti, Paramjit Singh Pamma of Harike and Manpreet Singh, alias Manna, of Manochahal the suspected shooters were still at large. Two pistols with nine cartridges were recovered from them.
