Honouring women pioneers: Pioneering dancer and choreographer Santha Bhaskar, 81, was one of seven women inducted into the Singapore Women’s Hall of Fame at the Istana yesterday. Mrs Bhaskar was presented with the Hall of Fame trophy by President Halimah Yacob. Mrs Bhaskar was awarded the Cultural Medallion in 1990 and the Public Service Star in 2016. PHOTO: LIANHE ZAOBAO
