Total supplies solar to Singapore LNG terminal
Total has started providing solar power to the Singapore LNG terminal, which is operated by Singapore LNG Corp (SLNG), the French major said on April 29.
The 600-kW photovoltaic system is mounted onto the roofs of the terminal s buildings and is expected to produce 800 MWh/year of power, which is the equivalent of the electricity needs of around 200 households in Singapore, Total said. The system has the potential to avoid 300 metric tons/year of CO
