Featuring the works of the University of Santo Tomas’ Communication Arts Students’ Association, Sine Reel 2021 will present 14 short films in its exhibition category. iWantTFC subscribers can watch “Golden,” which follows a student’s takedown of a secret gambling scheme in her school, while “Chit” imagines a future where time travelling is possible in the Philippines. Friendship and adventure are highlighted in “Heist School,” where a group of students steal their teacher’s answer key in order to save their grades, “Peksman,” where four friends attempt to sabotage a field trip, and “Oplan Eskapo,” where three kids devise a plan to get their friend out of the house, against the orders of his strict mother.
