Town boss Paul Jewell has confirmed that the Blues will be off to Holland for their pre-season tour once again this summer. The squad will be put through their paces at a training camp in Eindhoven between July 15th and 20th, the third year in succession that they have travelled to the Dutch city.
Midfielder Josh Carson was an unused sub as Northern Ireland lost 3-0 to Norway in a friendly in Belfast this evening. The 18-year-old remains on two full caps.
Town defender Tommy Smith won his ninth full New Zealand cap as the All Whites lost 3-2 to Jamaica in Auckland. The Blues centre-half went close to grabbing an injury time equaliser with a header which flew over the bar.

Wolves captain Karl Henry has paid tribute to Mick McCarthy ahead of his former boss’s return to Molineux with Town on Saturday. McCarthy was with the Midlanders from July 2006 until he was sacked in February, leading them into the Premier League as champions in 2008/09 and keeping them there in the following two seasons.
