Nature P.E.I. is launching a new program to help Islanders better understand species at risk on the Island, ranging from bumble bees to bats and include several lichens species and birds.
A new report from the East Coast Environmental Law calls for immediate action. It says in 23 years under the Wildlife Conservation Act, not one species at risk on Prince Edward Island has been protected. Conservation groups on P.E.I. say the issue is urgent.
