CDC says catching COVID-19 from surfaces rare, but Heartland businesses arenât taking chances

CAPE GIRARDEAU COUNTY, Mo. (KFVS) - All that deep cleaning we do because of the pandemic may not be as useful as we once thought.
The CDC recently announced the risk of spreading the virus on surfaces is low, but Heartland businesses still arenât taking any chances.
Century Casino Operations Director Roger Eledge said they will continue to deep clean like they have all year.
âWe havenât changed our processes despite any new CDC reports that come out,â Eledge said.
