The Adelaide Advertising and Design Club (AADC) is heading into its 46th year with two new co-presidents at the helm; studio manager of Simple Integrated Marketing, Taylor Martin and managing director of Showpony Melbourne, Jamie Scott.
It’s with a great deal of thanks that the club says goodbye to outgoing co-president, James Rickard.
Says Scott: “James’ aim was to leave the club in better shape than he found it, and thanks to his enormous effort over the three years he was President, we’re in great shape.
“The club enjoys financial strength, a large membership base, a full executive committee and strong support for the annual awards. Under his leadership the club has created strong bonds with universities, built a mentoring program, increased the number of events – which members can enjoy with discount – and importantly, recognised and acted upon the gender inequalities in the industry via She Creates.�
