East West Rail has launched an innovative “enterprise partner” model to assist the launch of the new Oxford to Cambridge railway service. East West Railway Company (EWR Co) said it is aware that the construction of a new railway will come with complexity and uncertainty, and therefore it is looking for a strategic level partner to help it meet the resultant challenges. EWR Co has invited organisations from beyond the rail sector and those who specifically have an infrastructure background to get involved in testing market appetite to deliver train operations and asset management, as well as support strategic leadership of the project.
