Milestone achieved towards new private ED
Western Australia’s first private Emergency Department north of the Swan River is a step closer following a “topping out” ceremony held at Ramsay Health Care’s Hollywood Private Hospital.
The ceremony marked construction hitting full height on the six-level building which will accommodate 14 ED bays, three new wards and a plant room when it opens next year. Construction is on track for completion in September 2021.
The $67 million project is being undertaken by builder Georgiou and was designed by architect Silver Thomas Hanley.
Hollywood Chief Executive Officer, Peter Mott said the project was the final step in a fiveyear, $200 million Ramsay Health Care-funded development that would result in the hospital expanding to more than 900 beds.
