Montgomery County police have charged a 15-year-old student for calling in a fake bomb threat against a high school Thursday a day after the department said.
The Montgomery County Police Department said Wednesday a 12-year-old child was behind a string of recent fake bomb threats to county schools, but said criminal charges cannot be brought because of the age of the suspect.
A 12-year-old child has been identified as the person responsible for making at least seven bomb threats to schools across Maryland over the course of two weeks.
