Violence in the middle east and elsewhere. For american citizens there is a security cost in the near term. Mccall Elementary School in philadelphia was placed on lock down this morning after officials discovered that a student brought in a loaded gun. Action news reporter, sara bloomquist, is live at the school on south 7th street in society hill. Sara what happened there . Reporter jim, the 13yearold was taken into Police Custody without any problem after the loaded gun was found in the School Building this morning. I am told by a source that the 7th grader is telling investigators that he found the weapon. He still will face charges because i am told he will bring it into the School Building
Increase in december. Fed officials are concerned that investors may not have properly assess the likelihood of an increase in the target range at the june meeting. In several times, the minutes note that they needed to communicate that possibility. Range of have a possibilities. There was general agreement that, while conditions had improved by late april from the the realirst quarter, strength of the economy and inflation were still at that time difficult to measure. So on april 27, the minutes say participants generally saw the wisdom of leaving rates unchanged at that meeting and then assessing relevance carefully, a stance they characterized as leaving open the possibility of an increase in the federal funds rate at the june fed meeting. The minutes go on to note a few participants explicitly wanted to raise the rates at the april meeting. Looking at drying conditions though and as you take a look at satellite and radar most of the rain is out of the area and we have some cloudy skies over to the south and west of us but there are in breaks in those clouds beginning now across the region and things are improving. 55 degrees currently in philadelphia. 53 in allentown. 54 in millville and as we take a look at the bus stop forecast this morning, 51 degrees by 6 oclock and 54 by 8 oclock. Partly cloudy and cool. And dry in most spots with those clouds beginning to show some holes in the action and continuing to improve. By 8 oclock, 54 degrees. By noon, 62. And by 3 oclock, 65 degrees. That will be your high. 59 degrees will be the 6 oclock temperature and it does look like its going to be pretty good this afternoon for veterans day ceremonies, a little above average temperaturewise and a bit on the breezy side with some sun coming back.
