Gold prices gained by Rs 195 to Rs 48,608 per 10 gram in the national capital on Monday following a gain in the precious metal prices, according to HDFC Securities.

Gold price fell by Rs 205 to Rs 47,910 per 10 gram in the national capital on Friday in line with selling in global precious metals and rupee appreciation, according to HDFC Securities. In the previous trade, the precious metal had closed at Rs 48,115 per 10 gram. Silver prices, on the other hand, rose marginally from Rs 61 to Rs 70,521 per kilogram from Rs 70,460 per kilogram in the previous trade. Spot gold prices for 24 carats in Delhi fell by Rs 205 in-line with selling in COMEX gold and rupee appreciation, according to HDFC Securities, Senior Analyst (Commodities), Tapan Patel.

Gold declines Rs 102, silver also tumbles Rs 269
Gold prices dipped by Rs 102 to Rs 48,025 per 10 gram in the national capital on Tuesday amid rupee appreciation, according to HDFC Securities.
In the previous trade, the precious metal had closed at Rs 48,127 per 10 gram. Silver also declined Rs 269 to Rs 70,810 per kilogram from Rs 71,079 per kilogram in the previous trade. Spot gold prices for 24 carat in Delhi were down by Rs 102 pressured by rupee appreciation, according to HDFC Securities, Senior Analyst (Commodities), Tapan Patel.
The Indian rupee strengthened by 13 paise to 72.83 against the US dollar in early trade on Tuesday.

Gold rises Rs 95; silver jumps Rs 154
Gold prices rose by Rs 95 to Rs 48,015 per 10 gram in the national capital on Monday amid a positive global trend and rupee depreciation, according to HDFC Securities. In the previous trade, the precious metal had closed at Rs 47,920 per 10 gram. Silver prices also jumped Rs 154 to Rs 70,998 per kg, from Rs 70,844 per kg in the previous trade. The rupee depreciated by 4 paise to 72.87 against the US dollar in the early trade on Monday.
In the international market, gold was trading in the green at USD 1,882 per ounce and silver was flat at USD 27.67 per ounce.

Gold, Silver Price Today: Gold futures for delivery in June declined as much as 0.43 per cent to hit an intraday low of Rs 48,336 per 10 grams on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) as prices of yellow metal slipped in international markets. In spot market, fine gold or 24 carat gold was priced at Rs 48,530 per 10 grams, according to India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA). Gold with purity of 22 carat was sold at Rs 46,880, 18 carat gold was retailed at Rs 38,830 and 14 carat gold was priced at Rs 32,280 per 10 grams, IBJA data showed.
