BOCA RATON Boca Raton voters will choose from among six candidates in two nonpartisan city council races March 9, and decide the fate of two charter amendments.
Council members are elected at large to three-year terms. They may serve no more than two consecutive terms. The salary is $28,000 annually, plus a $450 monthly car allowance. A look at the candidates and charter amendments:
Boca Raton election: Seat C
Yvette Drucker: Drucker, 45, was appointed over 31 other applicants in October to fill the seat of Jeremy Rodgers, who is on military deployment and whose term expires March 31. She is married with two children and earned a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Florida International University.
