A missing sailboat that ran out of fuel and power during a journey from Cape May, New Jersey to Marathon, Florida was found Tuesday afternoon off the coast of Delaware, the U.S. Coast Guard said. The 30-foot vessel, named Atrevida II, carried Kevin Hyde, 64, Joe DiTommasso, 74, and a pet dog. They were taken aboard by the tanker vessel Silver Muna and brought to New York City to be further evaluated and reunited with family.
The U.S. Coast Guard says two men and a pet dog have been rescued from a sailboat more than 200 miles off Delaware's coast and 10 days after friends and family last heard from them.
