Students from the classes of Valerie Morales and Frank Borrego at G.W. Stout Elementary School donated food to the SPIN seasonal homeless shelter Thursday afternoon. Morales said that the collection was meant to teach the students about the spirit of giving not just gifts, but kindness this holiday season. Organizations offer ways to help out this holiday
As people open up their hearts and wallets during the holiday season, many Grant County organizations are still seeking donations to help those around the area have an enjoyable Christmas, warm, housed and fed going into the new year.
