a normally fairly, well, sleepy but hip beachside community. a bank of america branch robbed in delray beach, florida. the getaway car that silver cadillac that you saw. and now it appearses we are back to some live pictures. two of the suspects sprawled in a driveway in, i guess it s northwest dade county. reporter: yeah, and i have a street location on that, it s just north of that area that you were describing. well into the miami gardens neighborhood here. you know, there was the public safety issue, too, with this neighborhood, jon, and you talk about them showing restraint. you know, a lot of people might not be at home at this time, but there s always somebody around, and it s 80 degrees there almost, it s in the upper 70s, low 80s. windows and doors might have been open, so police really had to move in, and we saw quite a few officers showing restraint is certainly what they did. but the guy in the ball cap is

across the board and toyota is facing hundreds of lawsuits. back to you. jenna: doug max kelway givingas nice lead into breaking news. jon: a fox news alert and there is a scary police chase underway in south florida. this started with a bank robbery, we re told, in del ray beach. del ray beach, one of the smaller beachside communities in palm beach county, a little south of the town of west palm beach, a bank robbery took place there and we understand that a vehicle is headed southbound on i-95, that may be one of the vehicles there in the lefthand lane, a vehicle handed southbound on i-95 at speeds over 100 miles an hour. we re told that the car is a silver cadillac. but that doesn t necessarily meet the description well, it may than car there in the center of the screen. we were told it was a silver cadillac. at any rate, del ray beach
it was on 95 southbound. it was being chased by some kind of a police suv, and we are told that that suv might have crashed just a minute or two ago. whether the officers are okay, we do not yet know. in fact, we absolutely cannot confirm that the thing has crashed. we re having some difficulties with the wsvn chopper bringing you this picture full time, but take a look. this car is approaching one of the major intersections probably, i m guessing, in either southern broward county i m sorry, northern broward county or southern palm beach county. it all started with a bank robbery at a bank of america branch. a silver cadillac, as we ve been told and if you ve been watching any of the cadillac commercials lately, those machines can practically fly. harris has some more information for us from the breaking news desk. reporter: yeah. i m listening to the chopper pilot and some of the scanner
you can see the second suspect being taken into custody there. the one with the ball cap. he was the driver of the vehicle. that vehicle is silver-gray cadillac that at times when he it going over 100 miles an hour on i-95 and on i-75 here. they ve got additional units now showing up. female officers, additional officers now on the radio. once again if you re just joining us, you re watching wvsn. its chopper pilot following the guys on the ground who it looked like they were driving a getaway vehicle. a silver cadillac, and you heard the chopper pilot say they are well over 100 miles per hour. it does now look like the police have finished, got these guys in custody following a bank robbery on atlantic avenue in del rey beach, florida. this is a high-speed chase that covered about three counties. looks like it s over now. and we ll take a quick break leer and be right back. th a and a choice.
