Residents of Silkyara tunnel in Tamil Nadu have witnessed the evacuation of 41 trapped workers, with locals shouting slogans in support of the multi-agency rescue operation. Rescue workers appeared close to breaking through the 60-meter rubble stretch of the collapsed tunnel. Locals also sang in prase of local deity Baba Baukhnag and expressed gratitude to him.
