BACOLOD CITY – The top most wanted drug personality in Silay City, Negros Occidental was found dead in Rizal last May 19.
Police Lt. Col. Robert Petate, Silay City police chief, confirmed Friday that Michael Vincent Divinagracia, along with an unidentified man, was killed by still unnamed gunmen.
Petate said Divinagracia’s remains were dumped in Barangay Pinugay, Baras.
Five cartridges of an unknown firearm were recovered from the crime scene, Petate said.
Petate said that Divinagracia’s identity was confirmed through a driver’s license recovered from him.
Two years ago, police reported that Divinagracia, a resident of Barangay Mambulac, Silay City, has not been sighted in the province and was allegedly hiding in Luzon.
