ESSEX In a press release dated Dec. 17, the Essex Police Department (EPD) reported that it charged two men in connection with a burglary said to have taken place in a Pearl Street residence in late November.
EPD says that officers were called to the home around 1:10 a.m. Nov. 21 for the reported crime. Police were told that one of the residents had woken up to find two individuals inside her bedroom. The victim began screaming, at which point both suspects fled the scene.
Responding officers were unable to locate the individuals upon searching the area.
It was reported that the suspects took with them a laptop, an Apple Watch, and the victimâs wallet.
