Asheville’s Salvage Station has planned its wake up from a pandemic-induced winter hibernation.
The venue paused services and shows in December, but have booked outdoor shows throughout March and April, beginning with local county-soul band Red Clay Harvest at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 18.
“The decision to shut down was really our only option,” said Marketing Director Katie Hild, “because we didn t feel as though it was safe to have indoor performances and it just simply got too cold to run our business, which is, we re normally running stuff, indoors and outdoors. We just simply couldn t do it outside during the winter. It just got too cold.”
Before the pandemic and eventual shutdown, The Get Right Band was one of the hardest work musical acts in Western North Carolina. Based out of Ashevil.
