Commissioners, special advisers and others aides of the Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, have been directed to submit themselves for compulsory COVID-19 test.
It was gathered that the directive was given shortly after the governor returned to the country from a foreign trip.
Apart from the appointees of the governor, all the aides appointed by the appointees were also told to submit themselves for COVID-19 test.
The Special Adviser to the governor on Public Health, Dr Siji Olamiju, on Saturday said the move was precautionary.
He said, “Everybody must undertake it, including myself. We have some results already and we are still expecting more. You know Mr Governor was away from the state.
