MIT senior Rachel Chae and alumnus Sihao Huang have been selected for the 2023 Class of Marshall Scholars. They will commence graduate study in the U.K. next fall.
MIT senior Sihao Huang is using physics theories to model complex social and political systems. The physics and electrical engineering and computer science major is minoring in political science and working with the Quantum Physics Group, the Media Lab, and the Security Studies Program.
Six MIT students have been selected as 2023 Schwarzman Scholars. Sihao Huang, William Kuhl, Tingyu Li, Giramnah Peña-Alcántara, Sreya Vangara, and Kelly Wu will pursue a one-year master's program in global affairs at Tsinghua University in Beijing starting in August 2022.
