KUCHING: Former premier Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad should not have made a remark about chopsticks and the Chinese community when speaking about the assimilation of non-Malays in the country, says PKR candidate Cherishe Ng.
KUCHING: Three PKR candidates - Ahmad Nazib Johari, Datuk Dr Nor Irwan Ahmad Nor and Cherishe Ng – have started campaigning for the Sarawak state election by organising a gotong-royong session.
KUCHING, Dec 5 Batu Lintang looks set to see a multi-cornered fight in the 12th state election, which nomination and polling slated for Dec 6 and 18 respectively. Incumbent See Chee How from Parti Sarawak Bersatu (PSB) will defend the seat which he has been representing since the 2011 state.
