ultimately come up with a deal. the question here though is, is that deal going to be something president trump sign off on. the big reason for that is we re told the agreement will only include between $1.3 billion and $1.6 billion in funding for border security. that is a far cry from the $5.7 billion that the president has demanded. he despite that, republican senator john hogan said today the president may be open to signing off on that deal. we re working to get funding not only for a border barrier wall like you re talking about as well as personnel and technology and we need all three, and so the negotiating is going on right now, we re going back and forth. we can definitely do a deal and the president is showing willingness to compromise. we need leadership, particularly in the house, to do the same. reporter: within just the last few minutes the president tweeted about this very issue and he said, the democrats just don t seem to want border security. they are fighting bo
