a specific duty. it is their job to protect the children in the schools of uvalde. that is their specific job. and, nrkts ain fact, after the shooting in santa fe in texas, they put in all these security measures and they included doubling the security budget for the uvalde school district, giving them a specific police force who were trained. they had two active training days in the last two years. one of them was two months before this shooting. and in their training they re specifically told that they re supposed to go after the shooters. that is the first thing to do. go after the attackers. now, i understand there was a lot going on and it was very chaotic and who was in charge and who was supposed to take command. but if they re trained specifically to go after the attackers, number one, nothing else, that should have been done and they should have never got on the the point, who was in charge, what are the tactics that should be followed here.
