The Truckee Tahoe Air Show & Family Festival “A Day of Remembrance,” soars back in spectacular fashion on Saturday, September 11, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This is sure to be a day packed full of dazzling aerobatic performances and a grand finale unlike anything anyone has ever witnessed at the Truckee Tahoe Airport. The 3:30 p.m. Grand Finale Performance by the United States Air Force F-35A Lightning II Demonstration Team will make the crowd cheer for more! Major Kristin “BEO” Wolfe is the first-ever female pilot and commander United States Air Force F-35A Lightning II Demonstration Team, and she knows with hard work and dedication that young people can succeed at their goals. Wolfe will demonstrate the Air Force’s most advanced multi-role stealth-fighter’s aerial capabilities, along with the support of her 11-person demo team.
