Usc joined the nationwide protest just this morning. You can see some of the video thats happening down there. Lets show you whats happening in los angeles. About two hours ago, police gave two tenminute warnings for people to disperse. Then officers did start to take protesters into custody. Just about 30 minutes ago. Weve seen several small skirmishes between the protesters and the officers. Protesters have told us our reporters down there that theyre prepared to be arrested. W
Many people who were celebrating him, and glide with musical tributes that holiday jam party and so many others. A celebration for him, really. About five years ago, i had a chance to sit down and talk with him. As he looked back on his legacy, he did, as you mentioned, preach unconditional love, and he talked to me about how proud he was of that. Just this past hour, i spoke with glides communications officer, who told me that reverend williams passed away peacefully at his home in San Francisco, and they have had an outpouring of love from people everywhere around the country. And even though cecil was 94 and he lived a long and beautiful and impactful life, nothing takes away that sting of knowing that he is gone. And i think that is what were holding. Anyone who knew cecil will recognize that. And
