Well know more about the impact pap. What happened today happened quickly. Word went out the verdict was coming in and 20 minutes later all the attorneys from both sides and all the jurors were gone. We do have pictures from inside the courtroom from our courtroom artist. He says it happened quickly, the jury finding pg e guilty on five counts of violating Pipeline Safety regulations. And one count of obstructing the federal investigation of the san bruno gas explosion. You remember that 20ton explosion killed eight people and destroyed 38 homes. Pg e was exceeding federal pressure standards on the pipe that blew up and failed to inspect the pipes as required after exceeding those pressure limits. Officers found a 50yearold man shot outside a liquor store on east 18th street just before 10 30 last night. They found three more victims just a few blocks away. One person is in Critical Condition. Three others in serious condition. San Francisco Police are trying to figure out who shot and killed a man in his 20s last night. Officers found the man just before 8 00 near grove and buchanan streets. The man had been shot in the stomach and the leg. He died at the hospital an hour later. Somerville. Berkeley is seen as a magnet for radical social politics. The university of berkeley has battled over protesters over cals developing plans. The most ferocious of those protests began 45 years ago when a violent demonstration over uc plans for a small plot of land left one person dead and dozens of others injured. In 2000, rob roth had this look back at the events that put peoples park on the map. Reporter perhaps things you notice in people parking in berkeley these days is how quiet it is. All seems peaceful much the way peoples park began 31 years ago.
