other age group, any other age cohort that we have. they re always on the phones. well, that s how they communicate. why they see what s going on. they need to go to the polls. hard to get their attention. you know? it s a side point. tell me about it. larry, james, thank you for your insights tonight. there s a world leader that donald trump refuses to criticize and it looks like he s strong-arming his way to another term in charge of russia. what donald trump could be learning from vladimir putin s domestic politics. i just finish.
out of his party. that s utterly absurd. that kind of attitude is what turns off, again, moderate republicans, but it really energizes democrats and the one group we haven t mentioned, millennials. yes, they have a lower turnout generally than other age groups but that s been changing. trump is energizing them to vote. younger people. they re as anti-trump as any other age group, any other age cohort that we have. they re always on the phones. well, that s how they communicate. why they see what s going on. they need to go to the polls. hard to get their attention. you know? it s a side point. tell me about it. larry, james, thank you for your insights tonight. there s a world leader that donald trump refuses to criticize and it looks like he s strong-arming his way to another term in charge of russia. what donald trump could be learning from vladimir putin s
see, here s the problem. you re giving them the money, arguably. i know that many in the pentagon and the military would argue with that and say you re not giving them enough money, but that s a side point. you don t own the political reality of these decisions. because you don t debate it, you don t vote on it, and you re not on record about it. and it seems to me, that s why there is no debate, because, senator, with all due respect, you, every lawmaker we have on this show, says, yeah, yeah, we ve got to get after this. except will hurd. he s really the only one i ve heard that he doesn t think it s that important everybody else says, it s very important. but it never happens. why doesn t it happen? and i ll agree with you, it has to happen. it should happen. and i guess from the previous comments, it s true we support our military. we are the appropriators to make sure that they have the resources. but you just can t write a blank check. to me, that s not responsibility. that s
that he was a boor if not a criminal. and the fact that the clintons and obamas embraced him i think is a dark mark on their record. whether they issued a criticism today or two days ago, i don t think that matters. i think what matters is that they were close to him in the first place. i think the perception of him would have been before would that he was sleazy. he was using the casting couch. but the casting couch is sexual harassment. it goes beyond just harassment it seemed like in many cases. but i think years ago and maybe there has been some sort of a shift openfully. but i think years ago in hollywood maybe it was just seen as, oh, he s a boor or gross or a pervert. this does raise an interesting sort of side point which could get me in trouble but i m going to do it anyway. obviously he s accused of rape. that s obviously a black and
gross or per vert. it seems like criminal behavior. this does raise an interesting side point, which could get me in trouble, so obviously he s accused of rape. that s obviously a black and white issue, right? groping is obviously wrong. threatening, quid pro quo, if you don t do this those are obviously like criminal and evil things to do. oh, god there s going to be a but and you re going to regret saying it. however, however so he denies any unwanted sexual contact, at least for now. we should say that. i guess my question is, what are the rules? what are the rules? because if you are a if you are a powerful man, if you re a boss, he called these by him, by the way, colleagues. i don t know if they re colleagues or suborder natures but what are the rules? are you really asking that? did you listen to that tape?
