and the uav flying right into the front yard and watching as they are approaching the house, putting their safety and the safety of those in the community at risk. drones are an emerging technology. as such, they are coming into an regulatory arena that s not yet fully developed. senator mike lee along with other lawmakers introduced a bipartisan bill that would give local governments the power to regulate in their own regions for drones flying below 200 feet. it s so unfair that a stick criminal or terrorist can use uav technology but we cannot use technology against them. well only three states have any laws that allow first responders to disable drones and most of those only apply to fighting fires. and pete, molly, and griff. even for drone pilots when they interfere in these operations it s very difficult to track them down. when you drive a car you have a license plate. when i fly my airplane i have to register a side number. there is no such requirement
