HYDERABAD: Task force police arrested a serial killer who targets women coming to toddy compounds. The accused, M Ramulu, has been arrested in two women murder cases registered at Mulugu PS of Siddipet commissionerate and Ghatkesar PS of Rachakonda commissionerate.
Previously he was accused in 21 cases including 16 murder cases and sentenced to life imprisonment in another murder case.
Ramulu, 45, a labourer from Borabanda was arrested by the North Zone Task force team for murder of K Venkatamma, 50, of Venkatagiri at Ankushapur in Ghatkesar on December 30, 2020 and that of 35-year-old unidentified woman from Balanagar at Mulugu in Siddipet on December 10, 2020.

Hyderabad (Telangana): On credible information, the police officials of Commissioner`s Task Force North Zone team along with Rachakonda Police apprehended most wanted serial killer Maina Ramulu on Tuesday.
The police detected two murder cases, one case of Mulugu Police Station, Siddipet Commissionerate and another case of Ghatkesar Police Station, Rachakonda Commissionerate against Ramulu. Ramulu has been previously arrested in 21 cases out of which 16 were murder for gain cases, four were property cases and one was a case of escaping from police custody.
