ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. Just before deputies say a 20-year-old man struck Sheriff Manuel Gonzales at a campaign event Tuesday night a drone carrying a large dildo hovered near the stage.
Video of the event posted on Facebook shows a woman who identifies herself as a social worker asking the sheriff, who is running for mayor, what he will do to make lives better for minorities if he’s elected. Then, as Gonzales started to answer her a drone bearing the sex toy buzzed toward the stage.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. All Bernalillo County Sheriff’s deputies now have on-body cameras, but the sheriff is calling them “digital evidence management systems.”
Friday afternoon Sheriff Manuel Gonzales unveiled the device his department has purchased for all 310 deputies.
The BodyWorn camera by Utility, Inc., looks like a smart phone slipped into a hidden pocket on a deputy’s chest, but a company representative said the device is locked into its functions and cannot be used to make calls.
