Daily Sun that his 90-year-old father also passed away. Family spokesperson Naomi Mokhele explains:
“Menzi’s father has also passed on today and the family is still trying to come to terms with the tragic loss”.
The cause of death has not yet be revealed. The passing of Baba Ngubane comes while family members are still preparing for Menzi to be lead to rest in Lady Smith.
The news shocked fans, who took to Twitter to express their grief. One user known only as Nomfundo asked, “Hhaybo Menzi Ngubane’s dad also passed away today”? Another added:
“Just in, Menzi Ngubane’s dad has passed away today. RIP to both father and son”.
