The Ethiopian government has successfully-and thunderously-crashed the putsch perpetrated by a TPLF cabal in short few weeks. The victory-and the defeat-and its execution and pace will be a new, and important, addition to the annals of conflict in the Ethiopian history.

The special force of federal police and national defense force of Ethiopia today captured Sibhat Nega, known as the godfather of Tigray Peoples Liberation Front (TPLF).
He is seized in a cave along with his wife and other military officers who defected from the Ethiopian Army and launched the military attack on the northern command of Ethiopian army in Tigray on November 3, 2020. The attack has forced the Ethiopian Government to launch a counter military attack, which is concluded in about a month liberating all towns of Tigray from TPLF.
Though he announced retiring from the TPLF leadership position, Sibhat Nega has been known as the key strategist of the Front attending most the assemblies of TPLF. The Ethiopian Army which announced his arrest a few minutes ago indicated that Sibhat Nega is the major orchestrator of the recent military attack on the northern command of Ethiopian army in Tigray region.
