A Police Officer has been charged with the murder of the former footballer Dalian Atkinson, who died after being tasered. The ex aston villa striker was restrained by officers at his Fathers House in telford, in 2016. A second officer, also from west Mercia Police force, has been charged with assault causing actual bodily harm. Both appeared in court on thursday, as our correspondent sian lloyd reports. Dalian atkinsons talents brought him some memorable goals. This strike clinched him goal of the season in 1993. His career spanned 15 years, including four seasons with aston villa in the 1990s.
