Cranston Police make more arrests Cranston Police announced on Thursday the arrest of Nicholas Capuano, age 26, of 168 Kerri Lyn Road, Warwick, RI and Scott Campbell, age 20, of 1811 Warwick Avenue, Warwick, RI who were admittedly involved in the illegal, organized and reckless ATV and motorbike incident in Cranston on New Year s Day.  “There will be more arrests coming as detectives continue to dissect this incident. We have identified two additional suspects in which one is responsible for kicking at and attempting to assault the officer who was arresting Shyanne Boisvert during the original incident. The two additional suspects have arrest warrants out for them and we will identify them once apprehended,” stated Major Todd Patalano. 

Two more arrested, warrants issued in Cranston ATV, biker incident

The Providence Journal CRANSTON Detectives investigating a New Year’s Day incident that injured a Cranston patrol officer arrested two more operators of small off-road vehicles. Arrest warrants were issued for still more suspects involved in the group of about 30 motorcycle and ATV riders who recklessly sped through traffic.  Nicholas Capuano, 26, of 168 Kerri Lyn Rd., and Scott Campbell, 20, of 1811 Warwick Ave., both of Warwick, were charged Wednesday with reckless driving. They were released after arraignment, a Cranston police news release said.  Police have video of them as part of the illegal, organized, motorized crowd that defied police orders. Four suspects were arrested before these two.

Motorcycle rider arrested, accused of smashing Cranston cruiser window

The police say they seized the red motorcycle Zabawar was riding in the incident, having found it in a detached garage on the property along with several pieces of evidence that the police say link him to the crimes. The police say Zabawar smashed the cruiser window as a police officer was arresting another rider, Shyanne Boisvert, 23, of 20 Hurdis Street, Apt. 19, North Providence. The police say she had stopped her motorcycle to block traffic on Atwood Avenue. According to the police, Boisvert pushed the officer, and the officer took her to the ground to arrest her. While the officer was kneeling on the ground handcuffing her, several motorcycle and ATV riders began circling in a threatening manner, according to the police.
