Spoke with the survivor. Reporter Miguel Rodriguez is out of the hospital and said the tragic chain of events was a result of road rage. They were leaving for work going into the district from virginia when life changed forever. With a bullet lodged in his jaw an emotional Miguel Rodriguez cries for the loss of his brotherinlaw 50yearold pedro alvarado. The two men drove together every day to work at a construction site, but yesterday they would never make it to work. Their commute ended abruptly on 295 northbound in d. C. In a hail of bullets.
