Shufersal raises NIS 700m in equity offering Half the money was raised from overseas investors and half from Israelis. Meanwhile, the number of IPOs in Tel Aviv so far this year has reached twenty-one. Retailing company Shufersal Ltd. (TASE:SAE), headed by Itzik Abercohen, has taken advantage of an excellent period for its business and a lively capital market to raise NIS 700 million from Israeli and overseas investors, in exchange for 10% of the company. Market sources estimate that about half the amount raised came from overseas investors, mainly in Europe, and the rest from Israelis. (TASE:MTRN) fell 4.44% for the biggest fall on the Tel Aviv 35 Index today. Israel Discount Bank (TASE: DSCT) fell 1.13% and Azrieli Group Ltd. (TASE: AZRG) fell 1.02%.
