Rakiraki businessman Kalpesh Parmar says Government should consider a financial assistance package for non-essential businesses that have been forced to close because of COVID-19.
The owner of Shruti Fashion claimed his business and residential rental alone was $1500 a month.
“I have a small clothes shop and we all know business in Rakiraki is on and off,” he said.
“I have to pay rent for both home and shop and where will I get this money now that we have been told to close. “It’s very hard for us.”
