Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Monday expressed his government s commitment to preserve the sites visited by Lord Ram and to promote spiritual tourism.
Chhattisgarh is also establishing Krishna Kunjs in urban areas, he said.

Priests informed that Shringi Rishi has special importance in the ritual. Shringi Rishi had a horn from his birth on his forehead, due to which he got the name Shringi Rishi.

The three had also spent a night in the village before heading to the forest. To commemorate this incident, a park is being built in an area of 5,600 sq mt at a cost of Rs 15 crore and is expected to be a huge tourist draw in the area.

Prayagraj : , Jan 8 (IANS) The Yogi Adityanath government is constructing a Nishadraj Park in Shringverpur in Prayagraj.
Nishadraj, the king of Nishads, had helped Lord Ram, Sita and Lakshman cross the Ganga in Shringverpur when they were on their way to the forests to spend 14 years in exile. The park is being built to mark the event.
The park is being built in an area of 5,600 square metres at an estimated cost of Rs 15 crore and is expected to be a major tourist attraction.
