BMC Assistant Commissionner Ramesh Pawar mistakenly drinks sanitiser  Mumbai: A video of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) Assistant Commissioner Ramesh Pawar mistakenly drinking sanitiser from a bottle is doing the rounds on social media on Wednesday. The incident happened when Pawar was presenting the budget of the Education Department for the year 2021-22. The video doing rounds on social media shows Pawar picking up a bottle kept at the dais thinking it s drinking water and taking a sip from it. Fortunately, the BMC official soon realised it was not water and kept the bottle aside. One of the officers tried to stop him from drinking the sanitiser, but by then he had already taken the sip. Soon after Pawar was offered a bottle of water to drink by an official.
