Mokshada Ekadashi or Vaikuntha Ekadashi is one of the most significant days for Lord Vishnu devotees. It is a Hindu Holy Day that falls on the Ekadashi Tithi (the eleventh day) of the bright Lunar fortnight (Shukla Paksha) in Margashirsha/Agrahayana month.
Hindus, particularly Vaishnavas observe a 24-hour fast in honour of the god Krishna, an avatar of Vishnu.
