Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) on Sunday requested the National Monuments Authority (Ministry of Culture) to withdraw the draft notification on heritage byelaws meant for Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri.
In his letter to the NMA Member Secretary, SJTA chief administrator Krishan Kumar urged him to withdraw the notification immediately to protect the interest of the Lords, sevayaks and devotees at large.
