Thats exactly where we are so the week starting off coming through for us still warm, but we will take it over the record breaking heat we had last week. Nice view over Sales Force Tower from suture tower this morning little bit of fog noticeable out there in the distance are right behind me right by the bay bridge there overall though most of us are starting out under sunshine just those pockets right along the coastline and through the golden gate that are starting things off with some fog, good air quality continues today which is a nice break from the hazy conditions that we also were so familiar with along with the heat. Temperatures are currently in the 50s with hayward san jose Alameda Oakland and berkeley 58, north bay temperatures some of our coolest only in the 40s. Later today, it will be 70s for San Francisco and oakland while san jose, a nice day time high of 82. Robin. Thank you john we have several slow spots in San Francisco starting off with our overturned crash that s
There this morning, nothing active in blocking right now, but we had a crash that was lingering at the pay gates for over an hour. Weve had several stalls on the bay bridge and the skyway and traffic has not recovered the drive time looks a little better because it was 30 minutes. Now were down to 60 minutes, but its still crawling from west grand all the way up to the suspension span so get out there early and be prepared for that we had a crash here at the san mateo bridge that cleared we caught a traffic break in my last check. Now we have a stall westbound mid span. So the 14 minute trip may get a little better in the next hour from hayward off to the peninsula and one more all lanes blocked here leaving sunnyvale into Mountain View north what i wanted to 37 multicar crash still active so take to 80 instead of one oh one well check more problems coming up back to you. All right, thank you very much robin at 9 oh one we are now less than 15 days away from the november election today
Todays conversation comes at a very crucial time for afghanistan, afghanistan sits at a very key Inflection Point with peace negotiations currently ongoing between the taliban and the afghan government, though these talks give hope for an inch of decades of war in afghanistan, they also do raise certain concerns, it is truly vital that we remain vigilant in protecting the goals and gains that have been made on behalf of women and girls rights in afghanistan as well as those marginalized voices more generally, and the last two decades particularly as the negotiations have been underway the peace talks represent a major opportunity to really ensure that these gains are cemented. Id like to mention that back in september when these talks began and got underway, at the time initiated by former secretary of state madeleine albright, the Atlantic Council of the advisory board, she initiated a statement, over 100 former heads of states, prime ministers, Foreign Ministers among many others iss
