SRINAGAR: Security forces have busted a terror module of the Al-Badr outfit by arresting four terror associates in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said on Thursday.
During the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday, security personnel launched a cordon and search operation in Dadsara and Larmoh villages of Awantipora in the south Kashmir district after receiving specific information about the presence of terrorists there, a police spokesperson said.
He said four terror associates of the Al-Badr outfit were arrested during the operation.
The official identified them as Yawar Aziz Dar and Sajad Ahmad Parray (both residents of Larmoh), and Abid Majeed Sheikh and Showkat Ahmad Dar from Dadsara.

A police spokesman in a statement said that based upon the specific information about the presence of militants of proscribed outfit Al-Bader in village Dadsara and Larmoh villages of Awantipora, Police with the assistance of 42RR and 130 BN CRPF launched search operation in these villages Dadsara during the intervening night of December 23 and December 24.
He said that during search operation four persons were found in highly suspicious circumstances and during on spot questioning they admitted to have concealed the arms and ammunition under the heap of grass.
