However she says people of all walks of life come to sit, eat and enjoy. We have strangers sitting together with each other. And we have strangers volunteering side by side with each other. And it does not matter the age or the parish or anything, theyre here for a purpose. Like the sant an afamily from costa rica that say its power than just a dinner its a reunion long in the making. Then police told me that there was also some plywood along with some plastic barriers and around 2 15 this afternoon the wind knocked them over as a man and a woman were crossing the street. The fence fell on them and, unfortunately, both of them were injured. The man is 68yearold man has serious traumatic brain injuries. We dont know how hes being treated. Were waiting for more information on that, and the woman who he was with has some minor injuries. There was a security guard, a woman on scene who tried to help him get the fence off of them and she also has some very minor injuries and did not need to be treated at the hospital. At this point the department of building has been out here looking into why in happened. Were, of course, talking to neighbors who are very concerned about how the wind so quickly took down this fence today. Weve also spoken to a number of neighbors who say the fence has been up for quite a while, a year or two as the construction has been going on for a ve
Leandro, hayward, union city and fremont. It has been pretty good at the peninsula as the bands are rotating. 40s and 50s and we are getting a rather robust southerly breeze and when the front passes the wind turns northwest and cold air is moving in. There will be a stronger system coming thursday and the rain continues friday even saturday as the pulse rotates, that would be thursday with the best system. Kevin who operates the camera is looking for the crash but we cant find it. Look at the slow traffic though, 24 is slow from the walnut creek interchange and it will be slow until the tunnel. We had a crash in this area that has not affected traffic too much. We have a lot of fender bender

The Contra Costa County Coroners Office has identified the 19yearold murder victim as Claire Horton of walnut creek. Seen here on her Facebook Page and the man who killed her is 21yearold scott burtex of lafayette. The two had previously been in a relationship but couldnt say how long ago only that it was not recent. And this one caught everybody off guard. Were talking about two good supportive families. All indications are good kids. Reporter shortly before 7 00 this morning a Family Member called 911 reporting shots fired. A source told me vetex walked up to the front door and rang the bell. Orton answered, then vetex shot her and then shot himself in the lawn. I was just in shock. Its very sad. Reporter police say theres no previous indication of trouble. No restraining order, no contacts with police. This was a complete surprise. No
