blew again. you re kidding me. no. then i went outside and there max was sitting in the front seat blowing my horn. and you re a veterinarian, have you ever heard of a scenario like this? absolutely, accidents like this happen all year long. i m amazed, as a dog owner, i think my dog would relax and say i ll suck it up until my owner comes back. was max really in trouble? max was really in trouble. within 10 minutes time, a car can heat to over 120 degrees fahrenheit. when dogs suffer heat exhaustion, they can have i m wearing burmese mountain dog, that s my new cologne. let me ask you something, are you a honker? do you find yourself honking more than most dog owners? no, i really don t. how the heck did this dog, max, hi, max. how did this dog max know how to
hi, everybody. welcome back. sometimes you get distracted when you don t have to drive. we know dogs can do some amazing things. wait until you hear about this one. after an owner sitting in front of me mistakenly left her chocolate lab max driving right now in the car at a on a 90 degree day. the dog got her attention by honking the horn for help! max and his owner donna gardner jo joining us right now along with their veterinarian. tell us what happened that day. well, i went to pick up the guy that does my lawn and when i came home, i took max with because the weather was warm but i knew he wouldn t get out of the car. so i went, got home and forgot he was in the car. about an hour later, i heard the horn blow and i went outside to look and i couldn t see anybody so i went back in the house and a few minutes later, the horn
honk the horn? i don t know. he s a special dog. he does things that the normal dog doesn t do. he rings a bell to go outside. you re kidding me. no. and he learned to climb up the ladder of our pool to get out of the pool. and he just does things different, you know. most kids can t do that. i m just wondering if we got out of the car right now, would max honk the horn? probably not. he s very excited today. he doesn t know what s going on. max, thanks for sharing your story. you re tight lipped because you don t want to blow your own horn. donna, thank you very much. and dogs are wonderful people. and donna, good job! thank you. everyone makes mistakes but good thing max was there to save the day. tell us what s up next. not that we need anymore show after this. one lint roller, please, to the curb! that dog thinks he s a lap dog. and brian is paying the price. new idea to save taxpayer money.
